The Gold Room is a local music venue that throws their own New Year’s Eve bash each year. With a different theme for every party, it is one of the most anticipated NYE events in Colorado Springs. To welcome 2018, the chosen theme was A Voyage Around the World. Neon Pig was tasked with branding the entire event—creating a logo and a dynamic visual aesthetic that carried through all the deliverables.
The integrated campaign called for everything from fliers to food signage to print ads and a bevy of social media graphics. Print let the way, with “Now Boarding” flyers hitting the community in late fall, and a robust newspaper campaign running through the holiday season. Other targeted tactics included boosted social media posts, radio spots, and posters throughout the downtown area. The creative was inspired by vintage postcards and the textures of old travel luggage. Neon Pig wanted to give guests a fully unique world-voyage experience.
From the moment a guest checked in to the time they clinked their glass of champagne at midnight, Neon Pig ensured that the Voyage Around the World experience was prevalent. Each guest received a printed itinerary with passes to their rooms or brunch the next morning, dependent on their package. Once at the party, passports were given out for attendees to try beers, wines and cocktails from around the globe. Every part of the event was a branded experience to remember.
